These special terms of use apply to the use of this service in the Tsukuba City Future Co-Creation Project, and our companyTerms of ServiceI will supplement. If there is a conflict between these Special Terms of Use and the Terms of Service, these Special Terms of Use shall prevail as far as the use of this Project is concerned.

Article 1 (Usage application and license)

  1. Applicants who wish to use the service should enter the necessary information in the designated application form and apply after confirming this notice, these special terms of use, and the terms of service.
  2. After receiving your application, we will send the license certificate or instructions necessary for use to the email address registered at the time of application.
  3. For applications by schools, companies, and other corporations/organizations, the applicant shall appropriately inform the target users of this notice and the terms of use.
  4. Licenses, accounts, and authentication information may not be used for more than the number of applicants, nor may they be lent or transferred to a third party.

Article 2 (Purpose of use and period of use)

  1. Users will use this service for the purpose of learning Japanese and verifying the effectiveness of this project.
  2. The availability period and other conditions of provision will be determined by the license certificate, information email, or display on this service.

Article 3 (Audio/recorded data)

  1. This service may record the user’s voice and send it to the server for storage in order to analyze pronunciation, display learning results, improve quality, and verify effectiveness.
  2. The purpose of use, destination, and storage period of audio/recording data and analysis results are specified in “Handling of personal information in this project.”
  3. Our company does not provide individual audio/recording data to Tsukuba City or CASIO COMPUTER CO., LTD..

Article 4 (Questionnaire and effectiveness verification)

  1. In order to verify the effectiveness of this project, we will conduct surveys before and after use.
  2. We ask users to cooperate with the questionnaire after use.
  3. The survey results will be used as aggregated results or statistical information that cannot identify specific individuals, and will be used to report to Tsukuba City and CASIO COMPUTER CO., LTD., improve this service, and consider future implementation.

Article 5 (Prohibited matters)

In addition to the prohibitions stipulated in the Terms of Service, users must not engage in the following acts.

  1. Unauthorized sharing of licenses or accounts
  2. Use contrary to the purpose of this project
  3. Acts that interfere with the operation, analysis, or safety of this service
  4. Acts that infringe on the rights and interests of other users or third parties

Article 6 (Suspension/Suspension of Provision)

The Company may suspend or suspend all or part of the Service due to maintenance, failure, security needs, force majeure, or other reasons specified in the Terms of Service.

Article 7 (Relationship with general terms)

Matters not stipulated in these special terms of use are subject to the terms of service. If there is a separate agreement regarding an individual contract, order form, or Tsukuba City Future Co-Creation Project, that provision will take precedence.

Article 8 (translation and original text)

Translations of these Special Terms of Use are provided to aid your understanding. If there is a discrepancy or question of interpretation between the translation and the Japanese version, the Japanese version will be considered the authentic text. However, we will check and manage the translated version to ensure that the content is substantially the same as the Japanese version.
